Saskatchewan saw the largest year-over-year jump in bankruptcies of any province, inn November, according to the federal Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy.
In a report released Friday, the office's numbers showed the 114 consumers and businesses applied for bankruptcy last November, an 81 per cent increase over November 2014.
The national one-year increase in November bankruptcies was one per cent.
